Hi,

An AFO is an Articulated Foot Orthotic. Its made of plastic that
is molded to your calf and foot and the the foot part is then removed and
put on with screws so it can move. They provide stabilty and keep the toes
up on the plus side, are hot and sweaty and atrophy the leg muscle on the
down side. Amber wore them when she was little - Betty has one- too!!
She swears at it!! Yes, she does!! Grin

                            Brightest Blessings
Trisha ( whose only up to message number
six!! TEASE!!)
