Belated congratulations!

In our case, back in the summer of '98, the arrangements were made before
the birth, but it was all happening in the midst of my campaign for state
legislature. The birth mother called to say she thought she might be
having labor pains, and Janice went out to pick her up and take her to the
hospital. I followed a bit later, but was stuck in traffic for some time
in the construction zone on M-14. Meanwhile, birth happened fast. By the
time I got to the "birthing room", they were already washing the baby
girl.

Sarah Gertrude Shirley Kestenbaum (that's one given name each from
Janice's family, my family, the birth mother's family), or "SGSK", is 17
months old now. She is happy and exuberant and very social and adds to
her legions of fans wherever she goes.

Michael, if you own a television set, you're going to get to know a
different Fab Four -- I'm speaking of Tinky Winky, Dipsy, Laa Laa, and Po.
Sarah is such a big fan of theirs that she gets excited when she sees the
FBI warning on the video.
