To All,

Just recently attended computer sale at Civic Center in Peoria, IL and
saw an Abit BE-6 mobo. The specs said that it could handle the PIII 500.
Intel has come out with the PIII 600 mhz cpu and I asked the vendor if
the board could handle that processor. He said that it could if I
upgraded to the latest BIOS.

Can anyone confirm this? Will upgrading the bios allow the board to
facilitate faster cpu's?

Does anyone know how this board performs with a Celeron (using the
adapter for the 370 socket)?

Thanx

Bill McMilleon, Sr.
