Oddly enough you may be able to find answers from the MS Knowledge base.
SCO Xenix was a System V operating system for Intel-based computers with
dumb terminals.
  It was a fast multiuser system developed by Microsoft and licensed to
SCO, which sold it to numerous vertical market developers.
