When I try to write MP3's to make an audio CD with a CD burning program
("Nero" v5-demo), I get an "IDE/SCSI error" message and it won't write
to a blank CD (the software seems to work fine otherwise). I have an LG
CED-8080B (IDE) CDRW drive hooked up to my AMD k6-3 400mHz Win98
(v4.10.222A) system, with 64meg RAM, and Award Bios v4.51PG. My two hard
drives are IDE, with 3.4gigs between them (about 330 megs left on the
one drive I am using to store data). Does this sound like a hardware
configuration problem? Memory? Any suggestions would be appreciated. I
am new to the world or CD burning, and I got my drive on auction,
without any software. Thanks.
