Hello PCBuild,
picking components for a new PC for a friend... do you have any
info on the reliability/quality of following motherboards? Intended to
be used in ATX case with Celeron 466 or 500, PPGA.
* PC Partner AP133BS1 Slot 1,VIA,AT/ATX
site says: VIAŽ Apollo Pro133 Chipset Baby AT Motherboard
* Pc Partner BXB847 Slot 1,Intel440BX,ATX
site says: under "phased out" heading -- is it too bad?
* MSI MS-6156 Slot 1,SB128,BX440
site says: Creative(R) ES1371 audio on-board - what is that (I mean
the 1371)?
* soundcard: CREATIVE Vibra 128 PCI - same as SoundBlaster 128 PCI?
* US_ROBOTICS 56K Hardware PCI modem, probably model 5610
* ZOOM 56K Hardware PCI modem (no model number given)
* video: ATI Charger 8MB AGP
* hdd : WD Caviar 10.2G, Maxtor DiamondMAX 10.1G
* cd-rom : BTC x52, LG x48
