Kenny your post saddened me and made my blood boil!!!!!  I know of similarly
sad outcomes with other pregnant women!! :((

have.  More need to!

Btw:  I suggest that any women (and enlightened men) read CONFESSIONS OF A
MEDICAL HERETIC and MALEPRACTICE, both by the late Robert Mendelsohn.  He
was ahead of his time!  He noted that the rate of C-sections goes up before
three day weekends and holidays!!!  Not only is this a  d_mn shame, it is
unethical!!!  You may be able to avoid some unnecessary medical
procedures....

I suggest that mom's and dad's-to-be get a copy of the article *The Myth of
the Due Date* by Diana Korte, Mothering magazine, (no. 72, 1994).  Who says
that all babies should take thus and such # of days?  And how many women
know the exact day that they ovulate or conceived? It is not necessarily the
same every month, though many erroneously think that it is.  (The calendar
method is highly unreliable!)

Do all cakes (or roasts) have the same baking time regardless of the
temperature?  Do all chickens have the same roasting time regardless of
their weight and % of fat?  Who is to say that your sister's baby would not
have come out on its own two weeks later and been healthier for it????  And,
why the heck didn't the doctor refer her to another doctor how could take
over????!!!!  Or, why did she not say, NO I WON'T HAVE YOU INDUCE MY LABOR
EARLY? then switch doctors?  IMHO:  Most people feel powerless and also turn
the reigns for their health over to the medical system willingly and with
blind faith!!!  You've gotta' read Mendelsohn.

PS.  Did you think of suggesting she sue the doctors?  If she won't did you
think of suing for malpractice?
