PROTEINS:
I'm continuouslly reading stuff about how high intakes
of protein will actually depleate manny things - Among
them is Calcium. For example, (I know milk ain't
Paleo, but anyway) drinking milk might actually cause
a loss of calcium because of it's high content of
protein.
Now, this makes me wonder about the Paleodiet. I
basically eliminate carbohydrates. Proteins and Fats.
Vegetables I try to get as much as I can. BUT, I'm
relativelly new to this diet, so far I feel great. I
just had knee surgery, I havn't been training, yet my
body's getting leaner and my recovery to surgery is
going very fast. (Too things not common to me). "So
FAR" is the key word here -- Will the future hold
health hazards to eating HIGH PROTEIN everyday?
RAW MEAT:
I'd like to make a slow transition to raw meat. It
sounds kinda disgusting to me right now, though smoked
fish is cool.
Would marinating meat in, say, lemon juice, still keep
it a PALEOfood, and would that still be considered
raw??
Thanks.
