I can only share my experiences with allergies. I was tested
and reacted positive to all the plant pollens they tested
for. Corn was included. I live in a town surrounded by corn
fields and every year when the corn "topped," I knew it
without looking. I went paleo earlier this summer and for
the first time in my life, I had no reaction to the corn
pollen!! It never occurred to me that there could be a
correlation between my allergies and the food I was
consuming. Now I believe that, at least in my case, there
was a definite connection. The dust mite allergies I can
manage easier since I'm not fighting all the pollens.
