The cost.  We have only one "health food" store that carries them.  They
carry a VERY small amt., usually not good quality and the prices are
astronomical.  Eventually this may change...

I did find one source for organic apples but haven't ordered any:

Call (800) 211.6240 to request a catalogue.  I called and they said the
