i just don't understand the question because i don't think in those terms.
for me it is not, paleo or nonpaleo.

because ,actually almost all present available foods to the human species is
not paleolithic anymore. They were eating wild and we mostly eat
domesticated species. even present day species like deer here eat all kind
of plants that have been imported in an artificial manner from Europe or
raid gardens because their environment is so disturbed ( artificial forest).
Even the level of oxygene is according to some scientists so impoverished in
comparaison with paleolithic time.

it is not , paleo or nonpaleo

there is paleolithic relationship between human and its environment that
seems to evolve at a very slow pace for very long then there is exponential
acceleration of changes in that relationship, with noticeable marking points
like use of fire for cooking, the neolithic or industrial reveolutions.( i
made an interesting mistake here reve in French mean dream i meant
revolution )

more we go in that direction , more this relationship is loosing solid
ground ;
more we removed ourselves from natural regulations that are ;there to
maintain homeostasis in the system , more we are walking on fire

so excluding grains and dairy as the bottom line of paleo is insuffisant in
my eyes.to obtain paleolithic health. i have to question way more this all
trend of thing.that made this system so diseased.

In fact , i don't eeven see diseases as nonhealth, there are healing
processes in my mind . what makes them diseases in our eyes is the
unwillingness to recognise the mistakes that brought thoses unbalances as
just mistakes that can easely be corrected by just STOPPING to reproduce
them over and over. Instead we make those rebalancing devices as problems
that need to be solved with new solutions,

and we end up ,once the problem is fixed , with thousands of new problems
that we will need to fix too .. and on and on

we created eggs that are so nutritionally deficient that we have to and had
to invent new way of producing them .
we see omega 3 lacking and a cholesterol problems we fixed them with canola
seeds that are on their way to be all genetically engineered ( 50 percent
right now in canada) and supplements to mimic natural nutrients.

No questionning of the quality of life of the chickens, no questionning of
the chemical agriculture that supply those beeks, no questionning of the
form of their feeds ( i bet its is pelleted ) (( gordon you can have custom
made paleofriendly pelleted feed for human, we have the science and the
technology for that allready , but i suppose you were jocking you are not
really ready to eat like a chicken)) no questionning about the use of
antibitiotic and medecines to fix the diseases that are necessarelly
happening in concentration camp for chickens., no questionning about making
a carnivorous animal a vegetarian ( does it sound familiar as an attempt of
fixing the problem of eating unhealthy meats...)

my bottom line is to not disturbe in the 1st place so we don't have to fix

and the opportunity to not disturbe once again is arising at every "problems
"coming in our way.
we don't need to fix the past but we need to stop fixing the present.
