Hi Beth,
Yes, I have always had movement difficulties. I wore braces up til age 14, then
the doctor thought I would be ok to remove them. Quite frankly I think I'd be
better off if he hadn't done that. I can walk without 'assistance', short
distances, but if I'm going shopping or something, I use a "mobilator", which is
like a walker, but has wheels instead of rubber stoppers, and you don't have to
pick it up, each step you take. You are correct about the 3 kinds of SB, I had
"the worst" myelomeningocele, which causes paralysis usually, and nerve damage.
I've got both - have literally no feeling below the knee - walking for me,
must be similar to what a person experiences if they walk with prosthesis after
amputation. No feeling - but I do "hear" the feet hit the floor......
Bobby, in looking at the ACM page (Arnold-Chiari malformation), I see a lot of
symptoms there, that I've seen listed for CP..........

Asdi, that's interesting - as my hand also is - although I do not notice it
myself. My mom told me that "I held it funny" a lot of the time, when I was
growing up. Says she has not noticed me doing it lately - and I'm unaware of
it, but I must have some kind of thing going on with one of my hands.......
Thanks for your help,
Beth
