Alex would know, Joanne. I don't know what age you're thinking of with
this, but when Alex got to school-age it might be another (unintended) slap.
You'd be surprised at what might seem so innocent to you would be a big deal
to Alex. When I was a kid, my mom ripped out the side seams of my jeans and
then sewed long velcro strips down the legs. She did a pretty good job of
hiding the tape, but once in a while my pants leg would catch on something
and the velcro would come undone. Then EVERYBODY in school knew about the
velcro. It was pretty rugged.

Gee thanks for a great tip for when Alex gets older. I really never thought
about looking in the girls dept. because Alex is a boy but who would know?
