My name is Vinayak Khadye and am a resident of India. I came to know about
the mailing list while surfing on the net. I and some of my friends have
formed Ashadeep Foundation essentially to dissemintate information on
disabled and deprived children as we have found that in India there is no
such single database regarding the same. We intend to be internet based.

We have made a small beginning too and have now a web-site of our own
(http://members.tripod.com/ashadeep). Currenly we have a section on Cerebral
Palsy on our web-site. As part of the intiative we intend to provide good
information such as books/literature, research work, experiences of
professionals/parents engaed in the rehabilitation work of such children.

We believe advanced countries, their institutions and professionals  working
in this area must have made a tremendous progress in this area and your work
can really benefit your Indian counterparts to large extent in their
rehabilitation work. Threfore, we extend you an invitation to become a
