Sure did what it - mostly in reruns with my grandpa. This series started out
as a pilot movie where he gets shot, paralized, then tracks down the shooter
( I think a disgruntled former associate). Anyway, in the movie Ironsides
was always yelling "Flaming this..." and "Flaming that..." which I always
thought was funny in my younger less PC days cause the story took place in
San Francisco and given Raymond Burr's sexual proclivity.

Was there an octagonal house in "Ironside"?
Negatory on the octagonal house. Guess you're younger, or less TV-afflicted,
than I thought. Or than I am.
Ironside (ne Raymond Burr, after his post-Perry Mason exile, came back
several years later as a SFPD detective who had been paralyzed by an
assassin, with a properly gender- and ethnically-mixed platoon of cop
minions
doing his bidding. He used to wheel around (and get driven around in an
ambulette van, even before ADA days) asking questions of his junior dicks,
which began with "Query: ........"
Guess you had to be there. Didn't anybody else ever see this show? Maybe
that's why it didn't last long. But I never watched Howdy Doody.
