Hemiunu, Overseer of All Construction Projects (Now there's a good job
title) for King Khufu is considered to be the man that organized the
construction of the Great Pyramid at Giza.. Built in 23 years by a crew of
20-30 thousand men "it has been calculated that each day thirty-four blocks
of stone, each weighing on average 2.5 tons, had to be moved at a rate of
one every two minutes for ten hours a day"! (When The Pyramids Were Built
(1999)).
Now get to work!
Best,
Leland
