Pottinger's Lady Liberty

From article in 03/20/00 New York Observer profiling novelist Stan Pottinger.

""Research is the dirty little secretof novels that work," he said. "Readers
want to be amused and entertained, but they also want to learn something."

So he got a tour of the Statue of Liberty from the lead architect on the
statue's 80's refurbishment, videotaped the tour , and watched it while
writing his actions scenes at teh statue."

Gabriel Orgrease wants to know if he and his sister can go on a tour. :-)
