day #7 - the water is giving out; we're down to half rations. turned off the
radio the first day, when they kept sending out broadcasts about how all the
computers were just fine - commies obviously had taken over.  kerosene low.
composting toilet near maximum.  shot two trespassers when I was out on
patrol yesterday - they were coating some steps instead of using
dutchpersons.  food getting low - may have to eat rover soon.  all that puppy
chow would keep us going another two months.  the underwood is operating just
fine, but i should have had the shift key fixed before we closed the door.
