I like your lawn.  Gazillions of dollars spent on restoring a residence to
"confection" ...the owners proudly displaying their 18th c abode to friends
and foes....bragging (and rightfully so) about how detail oriented the
restoration guys were......
Then the historic landscapers don't get to show their stuff.  If the owners
don't really want pigs, chickens, cows, horses, sheep etc ..scurrying around
underfoot and the Mercedes is in the barn instead of the horse, I can
understand this. Somehow the brilliant green - weedless - precisely  1 1/2
inch high lawn doesn't quite finish off the scene.  Perhaps a little garbage
strewn out into the kitchen dooryard would help?
