Hi every buddy;
I have 56kb motorolla modem, and so my friend. Some times he needs some
files from my HDD, I lot my Pc work as a server. And he could get in my
system but the connection speed is only 26kb !! What's that mean? and like I
said, our modems are 56kb.
Thank you all
The 56k is only one way, meaning when you connect to an ISP that supports a
56k protocol (v.90, x2, 56flex) you get up to 50something down, and only
33.6 up. Since you're connecting to a client 56k device, there's no host to
provide the 56k connect, so you only get up to 33.6 .
