Good evening all,
I have a computer here with a Biostar 6BBA motherboard, Celeron
366 processor and 64mb.
I'm having an occasional problem with the AGP Joytech Apollo
Trio 3D plus video card. When I turn the computer on, I get one
long and three short beeps from the speaker, and then in about 20
seconds the computer turns itself off. This is the same response
the motherboard gives me if there is no video card in the slot.
I can get the computer to boot again by re-seating the video
card, but when this happens after I install windows, the video
drivers do something weird, and it is set back to 640X480 with 16
colors.
I've noticed that this video card is not as snug a fit as
previous ones I have used.
Could it be that this video card does not stay in the slot as
well, or is it a bad card? It mostly seems to have a problem
after I do something like move the computer, or install another
card.
