> Now that I'm going to have a motherboard that supports ATA66 I've got a
few questions that you might be able to help me with.
> Firstly, do I need a different type of ribbon cable to the usual HDD
ribbon cable ?
Yes, you'll need an 80 connector cable in order to get the advantages of
ATA66
> Secondly, do I have to make any changes to BIOS or Windows setup to get it
to recognize ATA66 ?
You shouldn't have to. The BIOS should detect and properly recognize the
drive without any changes from you as long as you leave the setting at AUTO.
> Thirdly, How can I verify that all is working correctly ?
During POST you should see the drive identified as an ATA66 instead of
ATA33.
