I find it amazing how people can become smitten by materials and determine
that they are a fashion statement, when those most familiar with the material
see its utilitarian virtues. My amazement turns to something just short of
anger when the fasionable building designer determines that he/she knows best
and the cool new building material is the right stuff, when the client knows
the cool new material as the stuff from which second rate chicken coops are
constructed. No offense intended to our fashion concience chicken herders.
