Dear Listmates,

Does anyone know if Safeway Select Diet Root Beer is GF? I called the
company several times and was told they are waiting to hear from their
supplier (two weeks ago). In the meantime, here is a list of ingredients:

carbonated water, caramel colour, aspartame (contains pheylananine),
potassium benzoate, natural and artificial flavour, gum acacia, citric
acid.

I suspect the artificial and natural flavours-wouldn't it be nice if MFG's
were obliged to spell these out!
