I firmly believe that inasmuch as adults with disabilities know the score
about how society regards us, we have an obligation to do whatever is
possible to make positive changes for children with disabilities. When Lizzy
Jo becomes an adult, she will go places where other PWDs have been. Our
conduct now, when push comes to shove, will in some way affect how she will
be regarded, and whether she will be pushed and shoved when she gets there.

I can't be helpful with CP-specific issues, but I can promise to work
elsewhere on her behalf. As a former boss of great value would say, "We can,
We must, We shall."
