Teaching hospitals are hospitals which are affiliated with medical
schools. Much of the care provided in such hospitals is provided by medical
students, under the supervision of the doctors who teach the medical school
courses.
Children's hospitals (whether or not they are affiliated with a medical
school) are hospitals which specialize in the treatment of children.
