          Joyce,

          I work in an office and I use DragonDictate.  The noise usually
          does not interfere with the voice input system.  Earlier the
          background noise interfered with DragonDictate but I went into
          setup and I adjusted the setting for background noise.  Now I
          have almost no problems with background noise.
