Yui,
I have a Hi-Val LS-120 drive on my second channel as the slave drive to my
CD-ROM. I works fine for both read and write. AMI BIOS settings are:
Type: ARMD
LBA/Large Mode: Off
Block Mode: Off
32 Bit Mode: Off
PIO Mode: Auto
Be sure that you have the master/slave jumper setting correct so that it
does not conflict with the other device on the channel (if there is one).

Hi, I'm not very familiar with the LS-120s', but I have installed a couple.
One thing I recalled was they had to be primary slave or they wouldn't
work correctly.............
Does your BIOS have a floppy emulation setting (ARMD) ? Big help
if you use it.

On the other hand, the LS-120 still isn't. Windows finds it, reads from it,
