That was me that mentioned the two types. in one of my part catalogs it has
the bracket with the usual 2 usb ports, on the back side one illustration
shows one cable ending in a wide(10 pin) female ending. the other
illustration has two cables coming off the bracket. with smaller connectors
of course. the different use would only be required by the available spots on
the mobo
