Greetings list folks--
I appear to have fallen into the not-necessarily-enviable position of
erstwhile network administrator for a WinNT 4.0 server/Win9x client
network. This is a small (10 client) network and I do not actually
work
at its location. There is a modem in the server, so, once a phone
line
is connected, I'd prefer to log in via dial-up for any administrative
tasks that need to be performed.
My question is what is the procedure for creating/installing a RAS
client on my Windows 95 computer? or making it one?
(Relevant system info. below)
OS - Win95 C
Pentium 233 MMX
64 MB RAM
Cirrus ISA Hardware modem (set for PnP mode, however)
Seagate 3.2 GB Hard Disk
Creative Labs 52X ATAPI CD-ROM
Do installation disks need to be created on the NT 4.0 server? All
the relevant help files suggest that Win95 can be a RAS client.
