Tape drive for backups? How about a hard drive instead? Xoom.com was
selling a BusLink 13-gig USB drive for $230 plus shipping! Now USB is good
but certainly not as fast as IDE or SCSI; but, for backups, why not?
This drive has an on-off switch, which is good, because after a couple
hours it gets damn HOT! But, if you don't need it on constantly, who cares!
Again, go to your favorite on-line store and do a search for USB to get
some ideas for things you really, really need (this is what I tell myself
anyway...).
