Every other month I buy one Seventh Generation Full Spectrum 75 watt
light bulb from the Tucson Cooperative Warehouse, which delivers
prearranged orders monthly to our tiny town in the Middle of Nowhere,
Arizona. The bulbs last 3,500 hours (3 or 4 times the length of time a
regular bulb operates). The are about $7 but would be a little more in
retail stores. They fit any standard fixture.

I am looking forward to trying these out during the winter, when I get a
"blah" feeling from seeing the sun come up so late and go down so early.
