I'm gonna take issue with this statement Steve!
There's no way to know for sure *anyway* but Don's trial and error way
is probably at least as accurate (having read Don's posts) as testing
is. Testing for food allergies is incredibly unreliable - indeed AFAIK
most of the leading clinics in the UK don't even both - certainly mine
(Prof Brostoff's at the Middlesex) didn't.
Testing doesn't show anything much "for sure". A detailed study of
reactions over a long period of time is far more accurate.
Don't tell me you've been convinced by the "medical" industry in teh US
:-) I know testing is big business over there - perhaps thats why it is
popular there and not here - over here it comes out of tight budgets and
is only done when a) necessary and b) likely to produce worthwhile
results.
