Thanks a lot for speaking for me! For someone like Tombong who has lived in
a democratic nation like the US for so long to peddle the type of
harebrained slogans/cliches like he has, is a shame. Who ever said Africans
don't vote against sitting presidents? If only despotic rulers like his boss
would let the will of the people be, there'll be a change of government in
virtually every election in Africa. The Gambian people voted overwhelmingly
against his boy in '96 only to have their wish perverted. So, this whole
nonsense of "the devil you know is better than the one you don't" is
garbage.

The only thing we want to hear from Tombong is how as Director of GRTS, he
plans to give all political parties equal access to Gambian TV. It's pretty
obvious that Political Analysis isn't the man's forte'. (How else could he
misread the mood of the Senegalese people having spent three days in Dakar
at the right time?) Besides Tombong, that might serve you in good stead,
because your boy's days are numbered. So for once, go with your conscience:
DO THE RIGHT THING! STOP BEING A LACKEY OF THIS IGNORAMUS! Time is running
out!
