Yemaya Productions is proud to present the Wisconsin debut of the
critically acclaimed artist: Ricardo Lemvo & Makina Loca.
Originally from Congo (formerly Zaire) now based in Los Angeles, singer
Ricardo Lemvo leads an internationally acclaimed ensemble, Makina Loca,
which fuses the exciting and intoxicating rhythms of African soukous
music with hot AfroCuban salsa and Cuban son music. The results of
this mixture have been driving audiences wild throughout Europe and
North America. The group portrayed themselves recently in the
movie: "Dance With Me" featuring Vanessa Williams and Chayanne.
Within the last 3 months Makina Loca played to standing room only
audiences at Miami, Toronto, , London and Paris. Lemvo &
Makina Loca are signed to the socially conscious Putumayo Record Label
and are touring in support of the latest release: Mambo Yo-Yo.
