If I understand right, you have 1 printer and 5 computers and you want all
the computers to be able to use the 1 printer. I have 3 computers, and they
all use my HP820 printer. I installed the software drivers for each OS on
each computer, then added the printer as the default. I now can print to 1
printer from NT Server, NT Workstation and WIN98. It works fine.

They each have some highend propietary software on each one that he uses to
keep track of his stock stuff. We can both find 4in1 printer sharing
devices, And we even ordered a generic 8in1 sharing device. The problem is
the generic didn't work very well. He is connecting to a HP5 laser ptr. We
want to find a good printer sharing devive that will work with all the
different stuff he has without having to create a network printer. That
ain't in the budget. He keeps track of stocks but doesn't seem to be rich
yet. Recommendations and expeirenced voices, hell even good guesses
appericiated. Thanks guys.
