If you removed a modem to be replace by the Zoom, you will have to check the
configuration of each program that uses the new modem and make sure it is
configured to use the Zoom and not the old modem.
If not, make sure that you have not opened a non-TAPI compliant program that
will not give up the Com port, i.e. modem, to other programs.
Also for some reason, this modem likes to have the drivers installed before
you physically install the modem on the mobo.
Lastly, do you have a network card using the same IRQ. If so this~may~cause
the error. Just a guess.
