        I wish we could keep this thread re: Dr.'s lack of knowledge about CP.
My internist's son, a cardiologist, was prepping me for an arteriogram and
ask what CP was. He hasn't been out of med. school that long. Here in
Memphis we have the med school and LeBonnheur Hospital which is a
children's hospital. They have a ped's neurology clinic and the staff there
is great from my understanding. We also have a high risk newborn center
with the Med(Elvis Presley) which is second to none. Most of those kids are
treated as CP when they are released from ICU. But outside those, the
medical community here is pretty
ignorant about things CP.
