i went on a candida diet 1 1/2 months ago, and about a month ago found out
about CD. since i've only just discovered this as a potential cause of my
problems, i haven't gone entirely gluten free for any length of time in the
last month.
since i plan to do a blood test for celiac for the university of maryland
study in about 2 weeks, i want to be sure that i have the best chance of a
positive as possible, if this is, in fact, what i've got. is there any
minimum amount of wheat that i would have to eat, or just keep it in my diet?
i don't have a *major* reaction to it, but i'm still considering it as a
possibility because of all the additional problems i have (pain in gall
bladder area after eating certain foods, arthritis, diagnosis of ibs,
rosacea, lots of fatigue (tho prob not enough to qualify as chronic), memory
problems, etc).
i understand that i may have it and still be negative, but i'd like to bump
the odds a bit if i can. anyone have any ideas about this?
thanks,
susan ;)
