Hello everybody,

I have been reading your letters for a while now. I am getting a little
confused or overwhelmed perhaps.

There are so many things it seems that have gluten in them that we are
never sure what does and doesn't.

I have been celiac for 39 years and now with the internet I have learned
that I have eaten for a long time foods that contained gluten. I have
stopped them and now I am struggling to grasp the ingredients list on
packaging. For example I have a peanut butter that I eat. The
ingredients contains..peanuts,cornsyrup solids hydrogenated vegetable oil
(canola, soybean, cottonseed),salt. Now I am scared to eat this. Its
sounds clear but with all the hidden gluten I am not sure if I should.
How do we know. I really want to be gluten free and I think that i am not.
I read everything when I go to the store but now I am not sure. I would
like to know what everybody else does to relax and eat without the fear.
The issues surrounding weather or not to eat vitamins or try taking herbs.
I really don't know what way to turn. I am a busy woman who has three kids
and a full time job. I have grappled with an overweight problem most of my
adult life, I heard we are not suppose to be overweight and that celiac
are skinny. I also have ADHD attention deficit disorder..can celiac have
anything to do with this problem? You see how
confused I am? :)

Thank you for your time
