Hi Listmates,

About half a dozen replies re. Nutty Rice Cereal by Pacific Grain.  Consensus
is that it sounds GF and no one has reported any problem.

A call to the company reveals that the stuff is produced on lines that also
are used for unsafe products.  Nothing was said about what is done with the
first part of a production run.  Pacific Grain refuses to attest to the GF
status of Nutty Rice.  (A cop-out that too many manufacturers use, in my
opinion.)

I have not had any problems with it, nor has any of the other respondents,
but bear in mind that it can be contaminated in the manufacturing process and
the company does NOT consider it GF.
