 The problem is, many of us have experience with our own equipment only.
Its hard to vote on equipment and programs we have little or no
knowledge of.  Also, while all of us (I assume) are visually impaired,
we're not all VI the same way. I, for example, and deaf / blind (meaning
that I have only very limited hearing and a very narrow angle of
vision.)  I can't use a synthesizer so have no opinion on them or speech
programs.  Same thing with monitors: I see a normal 14 inch SVGA monitor
best. People with a different type of limited vision probably do better
with a large monitor and screen enlarger. I imagine that people who are
totally blind couldn't care less.
    OTOH, I wouldn't mind reading the opinion from someone who's had a
chance to play with all the different toys....
