Carol - You said that you recently suffered a stroke and that your
vision was impaired as a result. I realize that looking over and trying
to digest all this information must be frustrating to say the least. In
my area there are local support groups and rehab facilities that deal
with stroke and/or visually impaired people. The Office of Vocational
Rehab is one. The Bureau of Blindness and Visual Services is another. I
think it would be best to contact one of these (or what ever equivalent
that is in your community) and discuss with them the problems you are
having. They can arrange evaluations for you to determine what is most
beneficial for you with your daily needs. Look in your phone book, call
Social Security or any government agency that deals with disabilities. I
hope this helps you and I wish you a speedy recovery.
