Packard Bell PB8515SV monitor, Win95a, Cirrus Logic Video
Chipset 5430 2MB RAM; Netscape Communicator 4.72
I currently run my monitor at 640x480 TrueColor (24bit). I
would like to run it at 800x600 HiColor (16bit), because many
Web pages are that way. But when I change the resolution to
800x600, the fonts are small. The right side of the screen
curves inward. The Netscape browser is cut off at the left
edge; e.g. only LE shows up of the word FILE.
Is there anyway, I can improve the resolution without having
to go out and buy a 17" monitor? This monitor is 5-1/2 years
old.
I would greatly appreciate any suggestions.
