Around here, those bag o' salads are about the same
price as regular lettuce, sometimes cheaper (as little
as 2 pounds for around $1).  I stock up on them and
eat lots of salad when they are on sale.  If they go
bad before I can eat them, they turn into part of a
veggie meal for my pooches.
