Bad, bad, very bad.  An ant bite gives me a swollen spot about 7" by 5" for
two weeks.  It oozes plasma out every pore and gets all crusty.  Some ants
have higher formic acid content than others and those bites are the worst.
Black ants are better than red ants in this regard.  Just remember, when
you see a brightly colored insect or animal, they are prob. toxic.  Nature
uses color as a warning sign, except in birds.
