Hi, Rachael. I've enjoyed the posts re. raw meat but can't help wondering
if you would be opening yourself up to lawsuits if you have recipies in your
uncook portion of the book that include raw meat or eggs.

We just had a huge turkey farm and processing plant close in W. Michigan a
week or two ago because of a nation wide outbreak of bacteria that was
traced to the meat from the plant. Some people in the U.S. are not able to
get non-contaminated meat and may use infected meat in your recipies.

My father almost died several years ago from not cooking chicken
thoroughly - he was in an isolation room in intensive care until they
thought to test for salmonella. Originally, because he had been sailing in
the Gulf of Mexico, they thought he had an unusual communicable disease.

Anyway, just want to ensure that you are legally protected. Can't imagine
what kind of disclaimer you would need at the beginning of the book to
protect yourself....sorry, too many lawyers in my family!
