When wolves eat raw bones, they are "wrapped" in hair inside their
intestines. Some of the BARF authors ask people to feed raw bones to their
dogs only after having given them a large meal so that there will not be any
intestinal puncture.

I would think that humans - having different intestines anyway - would be
much safer to make a "soup" of the bones to soften them, as some people on
this list do. Or, grind them.

BARF stands for Bones and Raw Food. We've discussed eating raw on this
list, and I believe that some are doing it.
