Sounds very similiar to my condition in the left foot (plantar fascitis-sp?),
which, over time, the fascia attached to the heel can develope the "spur"
which does show up on x-rays. I was delighted to realize that after switching
to paleo, the pain decreased, and I was able to increase the length of my
walks (30 min to 1 hour), and have even been able to walk more than once
during the day. When the pain does return, it is not as intense, and I have
even found some OTC remedies. Mainly, after a strenous day, I will massage
castor oil onto the back of my calf, following the hamstring, and applying
pressure along it, and then massage the ankle area. The next morning, I am
ready for a new day.

Staci
