"Kathleen S. Moroney" <[log in to unmask]> recently wrote about leg
cramps, and attributed it to not enough calcium.

It's been my experience that it is a lack of potassium that might be the
culprit. A 99 mg suppliment could be tried to see if that stops the cramps.
These are cheap and readily available. Or find a good natural source --
potassium hides in many foods. There was just a huge discussion of it on
the lc-diabetes list, and searching their archives would give you lots of
info and a list of foods. I'm certain many of them were paleo-compatible.

But don't take additional potassium if you take an ACE-inhibitor. It is a
potassium potentiator and could cause an overabundance in your system.
